We are seeking an Estimating student for our Montreal district that is available for **4 months or 8 months full time starting on January 6 2025**.

Here's how an Estimating Student for our Montreal office contributes to our team:
**Responsibilities**:

- Understanding and utilizing PCL’s estimating manuals, systems and forms
- Reviewing quantity survey assignment with lead estimator or Chief Estimator
- Performing assigned quantity survey
- Giving quantities of major purchase items to purchasing department for pricing
- Transferring quantities to lead estimator
- Performing general subtrade solicitation duties
- Bid document control
- Performing bid day assignments
- Visiting job sites periodically
- Developing relationships with subcontractors
- Other duties as assigned by the Chief Estimator

**Qualifications**:
PCL Student wages are determined individually for each student based on the number of completed school terms, relevant work terms, kind of role and work location.
