**Key Components of the Role**:

- Use a variety of communications mediums to engage employees, customers, vendors and stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain a social media strategy and presence, including but not limited to: websites, all social platforms internal and external.
- Research, copywriting and editing stories and posts for our internal social media and communications, as well as working with our clients for social media management.
- Work collaboratively with our Design team to produce a cohesive social media presence for our internal projects and clients.
- Schedule and lead photo and video shoots for internal communications and clients.
- Maintain regular social media posting schedule and manage social media calendars.
- Produce creative, exciting ideas for internal promotion and for client projects.
- Photography, videography and editing using Adobe Creative Cloud.

**Skills, Education and Experience**
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Communications, Digital Marketing, New Media or related field.
- At least 2-5 years experience in Communications or Marketing, including specific experience in social media management, photography and videography.
- Excellent writing, layout, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud including but not limited to: Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro and After Effects.
- Proficiency in using design software such as Canva, Adobe Illustrator and more.
- Attention to detail and highly organized.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic and time-sensitive environment.
- Graphic design capabilities on all platforms and programs is a must.
- Video editing skills and the capability to create sophisticated short-form video content for social media platforms.
