We are seeking to add to our team with the hire of a **Chemical Application Specialist.** This position will be based in the Lower Mainland, British Columbia on a 6/1 or 21/7 schedule.

**Major Areas of Accountability**:

- Design, develop and implement improved water treatment processes
- Conduct tests to evaluate the efficiency of processes
- Evaluate processes and equipment to ensure regulatory compliance
- Troubleshoot problems with processes and implement changes as required
- Assist in the supervision of plant operations
- Schedule and coordinate projects to align with deadlines and budgets

**Key Skills & Experience**:

- Experience with water treatment chemicals and processes
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
- Be a proven collaborator with a desire to work in a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Process improvement skills

**Technical Requirements**:

- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Chemical Engineering required
- Professional engineering license would be preferred
- 2 years’ experience preferred in the field of Fluid Management as it relates to the Oilfield, Mining or Municipal Sector
- Must be familiar with fluid management, water pumping and treatment systems

**Position Requirements**:

- Position is an on-site field role, focusing on work in the Lower Mainland, BC
- Schedule: 21 and 7, or 6 and 1

**Salary**: From $100,000.00 per year

**Benefits**:
