This is an outstanding full-time opportunity for an Accounting Clerk with our growing team.

Job Description/Responsibilities
- Process accounts receivable transactions, including invoicing customers and recording

payments
- Assist with entering accounts payable and reconciling vendor accounts
- Answer customer and vendor inquiries and calls for follow up
- Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies
- Monitor customer accounts for overdue payments and follow up with customers to collect

outstanding balances
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to customer inquiries and resolving any

billing issues
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve any billing or payment-related concerns
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all accounts receivable transactions
- Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts receivable

**Skills**:

- Previous experience in accounts receivable or a similar financial services role
- Proficiency in Sage 50, QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Office
- Strong analytical skills to analyze financial data and identify trends or discrepancies
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional phone etiquette
- Ability to negotiate payment terms with customers when necessary
- Knowledge of account reconciliation processes and procedures

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 1-3 years accounting experience, preferably within the food service industry
- Self-starter and results driven
- Highly effective written, oral and interpersonal skills
- Ability to plan, prioritize and complete multiple tasks in a timely manner
- Intermediate/Advance level Excel
- Advanced knowledge of Sage and QuickBooks Online
