Job Overview - Junior Accounting Clerk will support the bookkeeper in day to day tasks mainly involving the receivables side, of recording payments, creating credit notes, sending statements and following up on late payments. We are looking for someone with some experience with Quick-books online or any other accounting software, in addition to a high proficiency with computers.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in entering payments into the software for bank matching
- Process and record payments, including checks, electronic transfers, and credit card transactions,
- Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or issues with incoming payments
- Follow up on overdue accounts and work with customers to resolve outstanding balances.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all transactions and communications.
- Work closely with other departments, such as sales and customer service, to address any issues impacting accounts receivable.
- Performing other services as requested by the Company from time to time.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $22.00-$25.74 per hour

Expected hours: 25 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- QuickBooks: 1 year (preferred)
- Bookkeeping: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)
