**Major Responsibilities**:

- Administer group benefits programs including health, dental, life, and disability insurance
- Manage short-term and long-term disability claims, liaising with third-party providers and healthcare professionals
- Develop and monitor return-to-work plans and workplace accommodations
- Educate employees and managers on benefits, disability policies, and entitlements
- Maintain accurate records of claims, absences, and communications using HRIS and third-party systems
- Ensure compliance with applicable legislation (e.g., ESA, WSIB, PIPEDA, Human Rights Code)
- Collaborate with payroll and finance to ensure accurate benefit deductions and disability payments
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to benefits strategy development
- Prepare reports and analytics on benefits utilization and disability trends
- Other duties as assigned.

**You will thrive in this role if you have the following skills and qualities**:

- 3-5 years in benefits administration and disability management.
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Strong knowledge of Canadian employment legislation and disability case management practices; especially with CNESST (Quebec)
- Proficiency in HRIS platforms and benefits management systems
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and empathy
- Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to collaborate with personnel at all levels of seniority from other functional areas across the Company and external organizations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (English and French)
- Self motivated and able to prioritize amongst multiple projects at once.
- A high degree of critical thinking and analytical skills.
- Able to travel (infrequent).
