What you'll do:- Supports the Quarterly Reserve Committee and Year-end Valuation reports.- Maintains monitoring reports for both internal and external reporting.- Provides insights regarding the company’s financial performance from a reserving point of view.- Builds a close relationship with company-wide partners and connect with the business partners in understanding the reserve impact on their respective portfolio.- Develops improvements in current process to improve efficiency.

What you'll bring:
- FCAS/FCIA and 5+ years of P&C actuarial experience or 10+ years of experience and expertise equivalent to an FCAS.- Reserving experience is an asset.- Degree in actuarial science, mathematics, or related field.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.- Strong team player who is also able to work independently.- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - ability to establish and maintain good working collaborations with various departments.- Strong analytic and problem-solving skills with the ability to work through the technical implementation details while appreciating the big picture.- Strong technical knowledge with MS Excel and VBA.- Experience with SAS, SQL and Python is an asset
