This role works closely with provincial pricing teams and key business partners to execute appropriate pricing, modeling and product strategies to support business goals. **Accountabilities: 5-7 items** - Uses best practices to review & analyze business data using traditional actuarial, statistical and/or predictive modeling techniques to provide insights and meet business needs - Communicates analysis results to management and non-technical users, making recommendations and providing support for assumptions and methodologies - Develops understanding of insurance business, products, and regulatory environments - Perform indications for countrywide property lines and auto specialty lines - Prepare indication templates, data, reconciliation, and preliminary assumptions for the provincial auto pricing teams **Qualifications: 5-6 Quantifiable qualifications** **EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE** - Bachelor’s degree required - preferably in related field of study such as actuarial science, math/applied math, statistics/applied statistics - Actuarial co-ops or internships, preferred but not required - 0-2 years of experience **CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS** - Pursuing actuarial designation **FUNCTIONAL SKILLS** - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Basic product, price, risk management and insurance knowledge, including professional standards of actuarial/statistical techniques, preferred but not required - Ability to complete multiple concurrent assignments in a timely manner - Work effectively in a team environment **Bonus qualification**: - SAS experience an asset Allstate Canada Group has policies and practices that provide workplace accommodations.
