**About the Role**:
The **Office Manager** is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the front office in the retirement community.
- Full-time, Sunday - Thursday, 830am-430pm, for a total of 37.5 hours weekly. This position is **temporary.**:
- Must be flexible in hours of work to meet operational requirements
- On-call duties as required
- Salary range is **$50,000 - $56,000** per year
This Office Manager is responsible for organizing and coordinating front office operations and procedures as it relates to resident services, billing systems and related move in/out documentation. The Office Manager supervises the Reception/Concierge and Front Door Screeners, to coordinate the day-to-day work flow process and to monitor quality control and service delivery, and assumes Manager-On-Call duties on a rotating basis.
**Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities**:
- Minimum of three years Office Administration and experience in a management or supervisory capacity
- Strong data entry and reconciliation skills, strong multitasking and communication skills
- Self-motivated team player with excellent judgment and interpersonal skills with co-workers, seniors, and the general public
- WHMIS, Emergency Level 1 First Aid Certificate and CPR
- Emergency response training in the handling of emergency situations such as power outages, fire, earthquake and medical emergencies
- Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently and understands verbal and written instructions
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to effectively interact with the various individuals involved in providing holistic care in a flexible resident focused environment

Note: *A criminal record check is required pursuant to the Criminal Records Review Act for working with vulnerable adults. TB test and proof of Covid-19 Vaccination also required.
