_**Overview**_
We are seeking a results-driven and detail-oriented Marketing Communications Assistant to join our award-winning hospitality team. This role is ideal for creatives who are passionate about digital & traditional marketing, with a strong interest in event management and social media. The Marketing Communications Assistant will support various marketing initiatives, including organizing events, drafting press releases, contribute to content creation, website management, and help manage our online presence across multiple platforms.
- **Duties**_
- Proven experience in planning, coordinating, and executing both internal and external events.
- Support management by collaborating with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to ensure effective messaging and positioning.
- Champion the hotel’s sustainability program (Green Key), spearhead the Health & Safety standards, and manage internal communications across the organization.
- Assist in the development and execution of marketing strategies, including digital marketing campaigns and social media management.
- Conduct research to identify trends in digital marketing and AI that can enhance our communication efforts.
- Utilize Google Analytics and Meta Business Suite to track campaign performance and provide insights for optimization.
- Create engaging content for our website ensuring SEO/GEO best practices are followed.
- Design marketing materials to support promotional efforts.
- Photography & Videography background an asset.
- Manage Facebook Advertising campaigns, analyzing performance metrics to improve engagement and conversion rates.
- Social media listening and monitoring.
- **Requirements**_
- Knowledge in GEO/SEO techniques to enhance online visibility.
- Strong Project management skills
- Previous experience in events, public relations, or marketing roles is advantageous, but not required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
