**Your Opportunity**:
**Description**:
As a Laboratory Assistant II, you will be responsible for pre-analytical specimen handling, transport, accessioning, processing and storage. You will also be responsible for responding to inquiries, cleaning, monitoring and preventative maintenance of lab equipment and work areas, maintaining common supplies, updating inventories and data sheets and participating in lab quality and safety requirements.

**Required Qualifications**:
Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Assistant program.

**Additional Required Qualifications**:
Minimum three years’ experience as a Medical Laboratory Assistant. Excellent phlebotomy skills. ECG certification. Proficiency in data entry. Exemplary leadership skills like communication skills, decision making, problem solving, conflict resolution and motivating a team to perform effectively under pressure.

**Preferred Qualifications**:
Community or Mobile outpatient experience, hospital experience may be considered. Minimum three months of leadership experience. Experience in Beaker data entry & advanced knowledge with Epic. Experience in training & competency assessment. Courses, certificates or training in process improvement, change management, or leadership. Advanced/in depth working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office. Knowledge or certificate in LEAN.
