We are looking for a summer student to join our team in the role of Pharmacovigilance (PV) Assistant.
The PV Assistant is responsible for assisting in the administrative PV/QA tasks as required and will report to the Associate Pharmacovigilance Manager.
**How you will make an impact**
- Responsible for assisting in the collection, processing, reporting and reconciliation of adverse events (AEs);
- Help conduct Pharmacovigilance compliance activities;
- Maintaining high compliance standards in regards to reporting timelines, quality of reporting, and responding to inquiries from stakeholders; and
- Accountable for recognizing, triaging, and reporting as per the program or manufacturer requirements.
**What you’ll bring to our team**
- Post-secondary education in Health Science or other health care related field;
- **Bilingualism in English & French is a requirement for this role;**:
- Experience in Pharmacovigilance/Medical Information/Adverse Event Reporting/Safety Case Processing experience and/or Regulatory or QA is an asset
- Exceptional organizational skills and strong attention to detail;
- Above average verbal and written communication skills;
- Demonstrated prioritization skills and ability to multi-task to meet tight deadlines;
- Comfortable working with computers and technology, specifically the Microsoft Office suite of products.
**Job Status**: Summer employment. You must be currently enrolled in a post secondary institution and returning in the fall of 2025.
**Job Location**: Oakville, ON
**Hours**:9:00am - 5:00pm and occasional shift rotation may be required (8:00am - 4:00pm or 10:00am - 6:00pm)
