The **Boeing** Company is looking for an **Occupational Health and Safety Specialist** to join our team in **Winnipeg, MB**.

The **Occupational Health and Safety Specialist** will report to the **EHS (Environment, Health & Safety Manager). **The Occupational Health and Safety Specialist will be responsible for company Health and Safety protocols and programs.

**Position Responsibilities**:

- Leads & Facilitates special projects to ensure compliance and as part of Site Safety Plan
- Coordinates and or conducts education and training to certify employees and support regulatory and business requirements (audiometric testing, medical appointments, new hire orientations)
- EHS administration & system support (Focal for databases, training records, office supplies)
- Prepares compliance reports to meet Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) regulatory requirements
- Facilitate joint workplace health and safety committee
- Performs program reviews and provides corrective action, including training or other guidance or expertise to help prevent incidents
- Evaluates workplace hazards
- Provides input to new business opportunities

**Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)**:

- Must be legally able to work in Canada
- Knowledge of computer systems (Microsoft; Excel, word, PowerPoint)
- Experience in development and delivery of training and administering assessments

**Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience)**:

- Prefer 1 years’ working experience in employee health and safety
- Experience in training, coordinating, and influencing diverse teams regarding safety
- Experience in conducting audits, inspections, investigations and coordinating resolution of issues
- Bachelor’s degree
