**Business Development and Lead Generation Specialist**

**Job Location: Oshawa / Durham Region and Kawartha Lakes**

**Job summary/objective**: Your primary responsibilities will involve developing new leads and new business opportunities, cultivating community relationships, and creating a robust pipeline to achieve internal targets.

**Responsibilities & duties**:

- Research, track, maintain, and update leads- Community outreach- Business development and local sponsorship partnerships- Post and promote events and calls to action using social media- Strategic sales planning- Strategic Outreach planning - How are you driving traffic to our door?- Make outgoing calls to develop new business-
- Research and maintain lead generation database- Conduct customer research- Conduct client or market surveys to obtain information about potential leads- Participate in sales presentations- Provide accurate and timely information to management- Develop a strong knowledge of community services to facilitate the sales process**Skills/attributes required**:

- Excellent English communication (verbal and written)- Relationship Building- Event Planning- Experience with cold calling- Experience with research and maintaining databases- Proficient in MS Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook- Experience in using CRM- Strong project and time management skills**Qualifications/experience required**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business Administration- 1-2-year(s) experience in Lead Generation- Solid knowledge and management of community social media pages- Previous experience and or knowledge of Senior LivingValid Driver’s License and Reliable Transportation
