We are looking for an exceptional **Financial Aid Coordinator **to join our administrative department.
**Duties**:
- Perform all student-related finance functions on student database to allow for timely follow up and completion in accordance with government and college policies and procedures.
- Monitor and follow up on the status of all pending student loan documents.
- Provide exceptional customer service and answer student inquiries regarding financial status and information, advice and clarification to student questions regarding OSAP policies and procedures.
**Qualifications**:
- Minimum 1+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a private career college.
- Post-secondary education in accounting or finance or related fields such as business administration.
- Previous experience working with the Ontario Student Assistance Program and Federal government loan programs an asset.
- Advanced knowledge of Office 365.
- Proven ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
- Detail-oriented with highly developed follow-up skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as well as part of a team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
