**POSITION TITLE**: Project Manager, Rogers Arena
**DEPARTMENT**: Facility Operations & Engineering
**REPORTS TO**: Senior Director, Facility Operations
**TERM**: March 15th 2025 to October 15th 2025
**SUMMARY**:
The Project Manager will oversee a large facilities project at Rogers Arena. Reporting to the Senior Director, Facility Operations, the Project Manager will direct and manage the venue improvement project from start to finish.
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
(other duties may be assigned as required)
Represents the organization by overseeing a venue improvement project at Rogers Arena.
Directs and manages product installation from start to finish
Maintains exceptional facility standards through daily inspections of facilities and equipment throughout the project
Works closely with the Manager, Health &, Safety to ensure all health and safety requirements are met
Represents the Engineering Department during project meetings and during key milestones
Ensures the facility interior/exterior finishes and fixtures are maintained to standards, as instructed
Manages all project maintenance work orders, including prioritizing the work, developing completion schedules, and coordinating the work of team members and contractors to completion.
Liaises with internal and external clients regarding the project work order system
Maintains detailed project management tracking of all deliverables and key milestones
Provides regular communication to Sr. Director, Facility Operations and EVP, Venues & GM on project details and issues that arise and distributes update reports, as required
**REQUIRED SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & ABILITIES**:
Directly related post-secondary education
5 years direct work experience in a project management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution
Outstanding organizational, multi-tasking and time management skills including the ability to prioritize clients' needs, projects, and resources.
Strong administrative and computer skills to effectively manage the PM work order system and provide detailed follow-up on all requests, projects, and costs.
Experience in the operation, maintenance, and repair of a physical plant of comparable size and capacity.
Thorough knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety practices associated with facility maintenance and operations.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proven ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of internal and external clients.
Ability to work evenings and weekends, as required
