**Overview**
We are seeking Quality Assurance Technician to strengthen the quality assurance department at OPPL. Reporting to the Manager, Quality Assurance, this role will pioneer and execute quality assurance/Quality Control activities associated with Good Agricultural Practices.
- **Duties**

Support in development of internal QA processes and procedures and implementation of the company’s Quality Standards.
- Maintain and provide document control support.
- Assist in development of training content for QA processes, maintain training and certification requirements for the position.
- Identify and evaluate issues and/or gaps in processes and documentation and propose effective solutions to remediate.
- Test and inspect different types of plants in the Greenhouse environment by creating reports.
- Creating, reviewing, approving, and implementing SOPs, Policies, forms, and other controlled documents
- Reviewing data for completeness using ERP systems.
- Completing root cause analysis/ investigations and implementing appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
- Prepare and present comprehensive and readable technical reports

**Qualifications**
- Education: Previous experience or education in horticulture, agriculture, or a related field is required.
- Professional Experience: Experience as grower, grower assistant, IPM technician in the horticultural industry is
- considerate an asset.

- Ability to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods of time using hands, wrists, and forearms

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
