As an Business Development Associate, you’ll play a pivotal role in generating leads, building meaningful client relationships, and driving revenue growth.
Working closely with senior leadership—including the VP of Regional Operations, the Regional Manager and their team—you’ll craft and execute targeted inside sales strategies. You’ll have the opportunity to make an immediate impact by identifying opportunities, cultivating new client relationships, and supporting key markets. THE INDIVIDUAL
Given the pivotal role you will play in achieving the strategic objectives of the company and supporting the success of the organization, it is essential that you possess the following core competencies, experience, and attributes:
- High school diploma is required. Post-secondary education is an asset
- Must have 5+ years’ experience in a sales/customer service role
- Knowledge and experience in the demolition and / or environmental remediation is highly preferred
- Ability to multi-task, handle competing priorities with a calm, controlled demeanor
- Ability to work independently but also cooperatively with operations
- A proven record of accomplishment, driving results, and overcoming adversity.
- Experience generating new leads and cold calling.
- Ability to operate with high integrity, a strong work ethic, and with care.
- Ability to be flexible and work in a fast-paced environment where diverse business requirements may occur.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office - Word, Excel, Outlook
