**Bannister Nissan Chilliwack **(a division of Bannister Automotive Group Chilliwack) is looking for an energetic **Sales Manager** to lead our sales driven and customer focused Team.
The Sales Manager reports to the General Sales Manager and is accountable for the management and sale of new and used vehicles for the business. This includes accountability for Sales Advisors, their performance, training, and development. The Sales Manager shares responsibility for customer and employee, attraction, satisfaction and retention and the profitability of the Sales Centre. As part of our family values culture the Sales Manager is responsible for working with the General Sales Manager in planning and coordinating team activities that motivate and build confidence in the overall Sales Team. The Sales Manager will “live” in the CRM looking for opportunities for Sales Advisors and our customers.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Execute and establish the short, medium, and long-term sales objectives
- Develop and implement sales plans for the Sales Team to achieve monthly and annual goals
- Contribute ideas to and participate in the development and implementation of the dealership’s marketing and advertising initiatives
- Be accountable for successful conversion of internet leads to sales
- Work with the General Sales Manager to develop daily sales tracking and ensuring daily Sales Advisor calls and tasks are completed
- Monitor performance metrics related to your team including sales and customer experience metrics
- Develop and maintain relationships with our valued clients to further promote the dealership’s brand within the market
- Assist in the development and implementation of strategies for growth.
- Curate an exceptional client experience
- Develop a strong team to fully execute on the sales strategy for dealership
- Develop and encourage strong working relationships with all associates and stakeholders
- Deliver on financial results while ensuring compliance with company policies and corporate governance
- Promote professional development within a team environment ensuring associates are held accountable
- Lead, demonstrate and champion a healthy and safe work environment ensuring that all safety standards, policies, procedures and compliance requirements are communicated, implemented and followed
- Other duties as assigned
**YOUR CAPABILITIES AND CREDENTIALS**
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in automotive dealership sales management
- Strong understanding of the sales process and a deal closer
- Post-Secondary education in a related discipline would be considered an asset
- Must have some experience in a leadership role
- Strong understanding of dealership accounting practices, budgeting and expense management
- Ability to be professional and deliver exceptional service to clients
- Excellent people management skills such as leadership, team development, interpersonal, coaching, mentoring, and supervisory skills
- A well-defined sense of diplomacy, including negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Excellent verbal/written communication combined with the ability to interact and gain the support of senior leadership and other decision makers
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to manage priorities, perform a variety of tasks and meet required deadlines and targets
- A person of high integrity who is trusted by others and consistently honours their commitments
- Detail oriented, self-motivated and resourceful
- Results-driven and career focused individual with an entrepreneurial spirit and a strong desire to be successful
- Strong CRM management experience and ability to manage the CRM effectively
- Specific experience with VinSolutions is an asset
**WORK CONDITIONS**
- This is a Full-time position requiring a minimum of 40 hours of work/week
- An employee may be required to work on weekends, holidays, and evenings to meet business needs
- Required to sit for extended periods
- May occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- May require travel between various dealerships
