**Key Responsibilities**
- Direct, schedule and effectively organize and manage team members, including Automotive Technicians and Service Advisors, to ensure team objectives and service goals are achieved.
- Collaborate with other department managers to effect efficient operations and to improve processes.
- Create an exceptional customer service experience by: maintaining customer relationships and ensuring repeat customers, delivering quality service, recommending the best products and services, and addressing any customer concerns or complaints quickly and professionally.
- Establish processes & standards to ensure customer satisfaction and efficient operations.
- Regularly audit work being done and customer service being provided to ensure all standards are met and that repair work is carried out effectively, correctly, and thoroughly.
- Handle escalated customer complaints.
- Maintain service desk, including managing service desk team members and evaluating desk efficiency.
- Resolve service desk problems and improve current service desk operations to increase productivity and enable amazing customer service.
- Monitor department operations and client concerns to define patterns and work to improve efficiency.
- Mentor, coach, train and support the development of all staff.
- Control and monitor department expenses.
- Demonstrate and champion a healthy and safe work environment.
- Manage the day-to-day Service and Parts workflow
- Actively manage and improve on all measured performance indicators, including: gross sales, profitability, loyalty, CSI, etc.
- Forecast goals and objectives for the departments and endeavor to meet them
- Effectively liaise and manage relationships with OEM representatives.
- Work closely with the administrative department to make sure all outstanding financial items are dealt with quickly and accurately
- Procurement of shop equipment
- Supervising and keeping record of shop equipment maintenance.
- Effective management of warranty submissions to Kia
- Maintain a current parts inventory that is under 12 months old through effective inventory management processes
**What you need to be successful**:
- Previous experience at a Kia dealership considered an asset or experience in parts and service
- Customer-focused team player and detail orientated, with the ability to multi-task
- Positive attitudes with exceptional communication skills
- Demonstrate, at a minimum, basic computer skills in order to accomplish daily tasks
**Capabilities and Credentials**
- Energetic and positive Leader.
- Minimum 3 years management experience in the automotive service industry.
- Valid BC Drivers License with a clean/safe driving record.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Professional demeanor and strong work ethic.
- Front office parts and service experience.
- Experience dealing with customers.
- Efficient problem-solving skills.
- High level of integrity.
- Working knowledge of industry standards and practices, including product details and company services offered.
- Ability to train, coach, direct, and encourage automotive technicians, service advisors, and shop supervisor.
- Ability to motivate and engage team members.
- Desire to make a difference every day and help build a great team.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to customers immediately.
- Must be customer oriented, self-motivated and possess exemplify exceptional phone skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with customers and staff in a professional tactful manner over the phone and in person.

Pay: $70,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
