**SUMMARY**
Reporting to the Supply Chain process Control Manager, the **Inventory Control Analyst** role is responsible for managing process’s pertaining to inventory management, master data, KPIs and system information while achieving Daiya’s service level goals. This role will also train Team Members on inventory handling best practices, supporting Warehouse/Operations on workflow and system functions.
The Inventory Control Analyst role will lead and develop processes to ensure inventory accuracy through reconciliations, analysis, and physical counts across internal warehouses, 3rd party warehouses and co-packer facilities.
**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Provide effective leadership, training, and accountability for inventory clerks and material handlers
- Build ERP inventory reports to resolve shortages, inventory accuracy and ageing inventory issues in a proactive and timely manner.
- Analyze inventory movements to ensure lot traceability protocols are properly met
- Develop and ensure proper data management policies
- Assist in development and maintenance of key KPIs
- Coordinate inventory transfers between Warehouses
- Daily inventory reconciliation between Daiya’s system and 3PLs
- Stock Code maintenance (creation and updates as needed)
- Ensure processes meet Accounting guidelines and are auditing accordingly
- Assist in and lead Supply Chain projects as needed
- Generate daily Inventory reports
- Coordinate disposal of aging and obsolete Inventory following SOPs
- Assist in creating and updating department SOPs
- Manage samples inventory levels
**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE**
- Degree or Diploma in Operations Management, Logistics and Supply Chain Management and/or CPIM designation
- 2+ years of experience in inventory management or warehouse management in food manufacturing industry (CPA designation or working towards it is an asset)
- Solid experience with ERP systems, preferably Syspro
- Advanced level Excel skills (v-lookups, pivot tables etc.)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
**RELATED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES**
- Ability to effectively evaluate, map, structure, and implement process improvements
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong leadership skills
- Able to work cross-functionally and within a team environment
- Job is 95% completed during normal office hours (7:30am to 4pm), however, must be available to work additional reconciliation hours as required (e.g. month-end, quarter-end, year-end)
