Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Marketing Communications Specialist will be Sipology’s online and print brand ambassador ensuring that all communications are consistent with brand strategy, engaging and flawless.

This role is ideal for a self-starter with exceptional communication and copy writing skills who can translate strategic marketing concepts into concise, inspiring, and relatable content. This individual must have the ability to think strategically and work within a collaborative work environment.

**Responsibilities**
- **Write, edit, and clearly communicate branding via creative copy writing **for marketing materials, seasonal catalog, technical descriptions for product packaging and other online and print communications as required for brand awareness and growth.
- **Develop creative briefs for marketing and promotional assets **including providing necessary creative copy and promotion details.
- **Grow an engaged online community through caption writing and calendar development for the brand’s social media strategy **across all channels, to be consistent with the Company’s marketing strategy and is positioned to create brand awareness, drive sales, and grow the field.
- **Collaborate with Marketing and Product Development team **on the ideation of seasonal themes and strategy, researching of market trends, and working with the Director of Marketing to conceptualize monthly marketing strategy materials and brainstorm new creative concepts.
- **Provide support for public relations needs **by being responsible for media relations, writing and sending press releases, and communicating the news and announcements of the brand’s achievements.
- **Track and analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns **using appropriate metrics and tools.

**Qualifications**
- Degree or diploma in marketing, communications, business, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in marketing communications, project management, and copywriting
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to link creative marketing with linear analytics
- Proficiency in web content management tools
- Detail oriented with strong project management skills
- Strong, self-driven time management skills
- Well-organized with the ability to multitask effectively
- Able to work both independently within a team environment, and collaboratively with diverse teams to achieve necessary results

**Working at Steeped Tea**

This is a full-time, permanent position, working in-person at our Ancaster office. You may be required to work extended hours occasionally to meet deadlines.
