The NCDC provides a broad range of health and health-related services to children with developmental needs and works with families to support healthy child development. NCDC services and programs include: Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Speech Language Therapy, Infant Development Program, Supported Child Development Program, Child & Youth Development Program, Family Development Program, Family Resource Navigator and a community drop-in playgroup.

**Typical Duties and Responsibilities**

Provide child care to children whose guardians are participating in group activities at the NCDCS.

**Skills/Qualifications**
- Grade 12, previous experience with children and youth with special needs preferred.
- Demonstrated skills working in a computer environment, keyboarding 50 wpm.
- Microsoft Office (current version) skills.
- Proven ability to manage processes, flexible to workload, multitask and prioritize.
- Strong organization skills, excellent interpersonal skills, problem solving
- Proven ability to handle confidential material
- Satisfactory Criminal Record Check clearance
- Previous experience in a health care or human service field an asset
- Other qualifications determined to be reasonable and relevant to the level of work
