**Operations Team Lead**
Napier Outdoors is looking for a full time operations guru to add to our growing team in the newly created role of Operations Team Lead.
The new teammate will be the glue that keeps the office running efficiently, providing a helping hand in our busy office by lightening the team’s workload and helping our crew and office run more smoothly. You will search the market to hire the perfect team members to add to our small but mighty workforce, while keeping the current team well-coordinated, well-equipped and overall jolly.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- **Department Support**:Assist all departments with work overflow during peak season and during teammate absences o Daily order processing o Conduct weekly inventory reports, counts and resolve discrepancies o Customer Service: handle incoming calls, respond to customer inquiries, process warranty claims o Support the PR & marketing programs o Implement and maintain company policy and procedures to ensure all departments run efficiently
- **Project Management**: communicate projects plans, timelines and deliverables, provide direction, manage project competence, and assess department performance
- **HR**:Perform all HR duties including recruitment, onboarding, organizational development, evaluations o Recruitment: perform all stages of the recruitment process from sourcing to onboarding o Employee Development: Develop and implement training initiatives and programs that address organizational gaps and support employee growth and development. o Manage employee communication and feedback channels o Develop and implement team building strategies, employee recognition, wellness and incentive programs o Policy: streamline HR policy and procedures
- **Health & Safety**: Manage all health and safety programs and systems ensuring safety compliance
- **Office Maintenance**: Maintain the IT infrastructure, coordinate all office activities, maintain office supplies and equipment
- **Reporting**: Prepare monthly sale reports, customer and product analysis reports, inventory reports etc.
- **Planning**: Assist in the development of department goals and business strategies; determine efficiency weaknesses and develop improvement strategies
EXPERIENCE & TALENTS
- We are looking for a self-starter and ultimate multi-tasker with real world experience in operations, team development and project coordination.
- 5+ years of operations, project management or HR experience
- University Degree/College Diploma in Business, or related field
- Critical thinker, analytical mindset with the ability to efficiently strategize in a fast pace environment
