ScanDesigns an established furniture company is looking for an experienced full time Assistant Warehouse Manager for our busy Distribution Center in Coquitlam, BC

Position Responsibilities
- Leading and managing the performance of our warehouses with the distribution of retail and eCommerce merchandise to all warehouses, retail stores, and customers.
- Implement and develop a distribution strategy to ensure that our warehouses are optimized to run smoothly and efficiently regardless of season, releases, or sales volumes.
- Leading and managing the Warehouse team leads to ensure they are working collaboratively and efficiently
- Implement and develop a safety program to meet regulatory requirements to achieve
- Identify opportunities to improve warehouse systems and processes, and cost efficiencies.
- Hire and oversee training and supervision of staff
- Work Term: Permanent
- Work Language: English
- Hours: 40 hours per week

Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree
- Warehouse experience
- Knowledge of warehouse procedures
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Equipment experience

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

- COQUITLAM, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

- DCS / DEC (required)

**Experience**:

- Management: 3 years (required)
- warehouse: 5 years (required)
