**E-Commerce Marketplace Lead**
Miele Canada is seeking a strategic and results-driven E-Commerce Marketplace Lead to grow our brand’s presence and sales on Amazon (via Vendor Central and Seller Central models) and other online marketplaces including Best Buy and Walmart. This individual will be a key player in helping more Canadians discover and access Miele’s outstanding products while making it convenient for our loyal Canadian customers to purchase Miele products where they choose to shop online.
Reporting to the Director of Sales - National & Independent Accounts, the E-Commerce Marketplace Lead will collaborate with colleagues across functions from finance to marketing to logistics with the goal to continuously enhance the customer experience. This key member of the sales team will identify and pursue opportunities for profitable sales growth and operational improvements. They will approach problems with a solutions-oriented mindset.
Responsibilities include:
- Develop strong partnerships with the Seller Success Managers of the marketplaces
- Manage product assortment offered for sale by onboarding new products, updating existing product data and removing discontinued items
- Execute regular and promotional price changes
- Update supply availability for each marketplace
- Work with Miele’s marketing team to enhance product and brand content on online marketplaces
- Support demand planning with forecasting marketplace sales
- Manage Miele’s investment in pay-per-click advertising campaigns on Amazon and other online marketplaces
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis to support informed decision making with respect to opportunities and challenges for Miele’s sales on online marketplaces
**Requirements**:
- University degree or College diploma in Business, Marketing or a related field
- 3+ years of Amazon Vendor Central experience
- 3+ years of Amazon Seller Central experience
- 2+ years of experience managing third party marketplaces such as Best Buy and Walmart
- Thrives and enjoys working mainly independently with opportunities to work with colleagues from across the business
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Highly organized and capable of prioritizing and managing multiple tasks
- Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit
- Effective at analyzing and managing profitability
- Interested in product innovation within small and major domestic appliance categories
- Excellent computer skills including Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams and Outlook
- Fluency in French would be an asset
