The Royal Glenora Club is currently seeking **a skilled and passionate Culinary Professional** to take on key leadership roles in our kitchen. These roles are perfect for chefs who are excited to craft high-quality dishes, bring creativity to the table, and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
**Job Duties**:
- Prepare daily food items in assigned kitchen stations.- Set up and stock station according to club standards.- Cook and plate dishes in a safe, timely, and visually appealing manner.- Follow recipes, portion guidelines, and presentation standards.- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards throughout each shift.- Properly use and maintain kitchen equipment.- Support overall kitchen cleanliness, including storage and cooler areas.- Accommodate special dietary needs and allergy requirements as requested.- Ensure adequate quantities are prepped to meet service demands.- Report incidents and accidents in accordance with club protocols.- Follow all Health and Safety regulations, including WHMIS and fire safety.- Perform additional tasks as directed by the Chef, Sous Chef, or Kitchen Manager.
**Qualifications**:
- High school diploma or GED required; culinary diploma preferred.- Minimum 2 years of experience as a line or prep cook.- Strong background in food preparation and kitchen operations.- Knowledge of sanitation procedures and Food Safety certification.- Eagerness to learn and grow within a professional kitchen.- Collaborative, respectful, and able to thrive in a diverse team.- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.- Capable of working independently under mínimal supervision.- Excellent problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.- Ability to lift up to 45 lbs.- Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.**Ready to Cook Up Something Great?**:
