**Industrial Painter, Full Time**
MacKinnon & Olding has an immediate need for Painters to join its team in Nova Scotia. This position is Monday-Friday (weekends as needed).
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
What you will do
- Application and/or removal of protective coatings
- Necessary maintenance of tools and equipment
- Ensure the most effective use of all equipment and materials on contract
- Operate hand-held spray guns to spray paint or coat stationary items;
- Clean and maintain painting and coating equipment;
- Adopt safe working practices and promote safety awareness;
- Other duties as required.
**QUALIFICATIONS**: Your background
- 1 year experience in Industrial painting
- Experience in steel hand/power tool cleaning, abrasive blasting, water jetting and/or spray painting would be considered an asset
- Must be living in Nova Scotia and part of the local trade union
- **All successful applicants must meet requirements for Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP), Canadian Government Security clearance.**

**Pay Rate**:$17.88-$35.75
