**Position Overview**:
As the Crew Lead in our Landscape and Install Division, you will collaborate closely with our on-staff landscape designer to ensure the seamless execution of landscape designs that epitomize the excellence that defines Harper's Garden Centre.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Work closely with our on-staff landscape designer to transform intricate designs into outdoor realities
- Oversee the execution of landscape projects that are aligned with the designer's vision while adhering to project specifications, budget and timelines
- Provide updates and address concerns to ensure client satisfaction from start to finish and expectations are met the first time
- Maintain effective communication with the designer and crew members to foster a positive, solution-driven attitude
- Ability to plan, organize and and issue work directives to crew members
- Ensure compliance with safety standards
- Ensure employee activity logs and project updates are completed and submitted daily

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience overseeing three to five people
- Experience in landscape projects such as garden installs, retaining walls, patios, walkways, water features
- Knowledge of horticulture, plant materials, and landscape design principles
- Ability to read and understand site/planting plans with an emphasis on attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with designer, clients and crew members
- Commitment to maintaining a positive and respectful work environment
- Physically fit to carry out repetitive tasks with heavy lifting
- Must work well under pressure and adapt to ever-changing workload and weather conditions
- Valid driver's license and abstract required
- Must have reliable transportation to Garden Centre as punctuality is an imperative
