About Monarch Landscaping:
Based in Hamilton, Monarch Landscaping specializes in high-quality residential hardscape and softscape projects — from interlock patios and retaining walls to sod, garden installs, and decks. We take pride in delivering clean, well-built outdoor spaces that stand the test of time.

We’re growing fast and looking for a motivated **Crew Lead**to help manage day-to-day site operations and mentor the crew while keeping jobs running smoothly.

**Position Overview**:
As Crew Lead, you’ll be responsible for leading a small team through residential landscaping builds (1-10 day jobs and larger projects up to $50K). You’ll work closely with the owner and have input on improving systems, processes, and site execution. This is a hands-on leadership role best suited for someone who’s experienced, organized, and leads by example.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversee day-to-day site operations and lead a 2-4 person crew
- Interpret and execute project plans/layouts (grading, base prep, measurements, etc.)
- Operate and maintain landscaping tools/equipment (cut-off saws, skid steers, plate compactors, etc.)
- Ensure job site safety and cleanliness
- Communicate with clients when needed in a professional manner
- Track materials and report job progress to the owner
- Train and support crew members to ensure quality workmanship

**What We’re Looking For**:

- 4+ years experience in hardscape/landscape construction
- Strong skills in base prep, interlock, retaining walls, and carpentry (decks/fences an asset)
- Ability to read designs, measure and problem solve on-site
- Valid G license and reliable transportation (G2 may be accepted if local)
- Strong leadership, work ethic, and attention to detail
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various weather conditions
