**INDOCHINO** is looking to hire a **Payroll Coordinator** with an ambition to learn, grow and evolve with the business. Do you have what it takes to work for an ever-growing, high-pace fashion brand?
**Key Accountability**:
The Payroll Coordinator will be reporting directly to the Payroll Manager. They will be responsible for supporting all payroll functions while also performing various administrative duties related to employment. We are looking for an individual who is enthusiastic about helping their team be successful and is motivated by numbers and accuracy.
**What you'll be doing**:
HRIS Reporting & Coordination
- Inputting all new hires into ADP Workforce Now HRIS accurately and in time for payroll
- Processing employee changes up to and including terminations
- Responsible for overall HRIS data - ensure the information is up to date and accurate at all times. Keep up-to-date employee records (contact information, position, titles, department, salary, vacation, etc.)
- Pro-actively manage inconsistencies and data accuracy
- Maintaining and ensuring compliance of paper and electronic employee files
- Respond to internal and external payroll related inquiries or requests and provide assistance.
- Maintain records of personnel-related data (payroll, personal information, leaves, turnover rates etc.) in both paper and the database and ensure all employment requirements are met
- Liaise with other departments or functions (People & Culture, Retail etc)
- Assist in ad-hoc Payroll projects.
- Support other functions as assigned.
Payroll Function
- Support Payroll Manager in the preparation, processing and balancing of biweekly Canada & US payroll
- Verify that all data required for processing have been received and that checks have been completed prior to completing payroll
- Check timesheets and consult with managers about discrepancies, track timesheets
- Provide payroll information by answering questions and inquiries from employees, managers and agencies
- Ensure compliance with federal and provincial rules and guidelines
- Prepare workers compensation remittances
- Maintain trust with employees and keep all information confidential
- Provide assistance with internal and external audits
**What we need from you**:
- 1-2 years of progressive payroll experience
- Communications and time management skills; able to prioritize the workload
- Accurate and close attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or in a team
- Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc)
- Knowledge of ADP Workforce Now and US Payroll is an asset
- PCP certification or currently seeking certification is an asset
- Strong bias for action in a fast-paced, metric driven environment
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize, and manage a high-volume of tasks, deadlines, requirements, and decisions
