Are you interested in growing your career with British Columbia’s only Aluminum Extruder?_ If the answer is **YES**, then read on This is a full-time, permanent position, with an excellent benefits package, and room for growth. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities**: - Ensure maximum efficiency and quality through evaluation of each production station to meet production goals and deadlines - Perform regular product inspections for quality assurance purposes. - Enforce and follow in-house & regulatory safety policies and procedures. - Maintain open lines of communication between employees and management. - Ensure all resources and assets are used efficiently and correctly. - Other duties, as required. **Shift Timings**: This position will have a rotating shift on a quarterly basis. - Mon-Thur, 7am-5:30pm - Mon-Thur, 5pm-3:30am - Fri-Sun, 7am-7:30pm **Wage Range**: $20-$22/ hr. depending on experience **Knowledge/Experience and Skills**: - Supervisory experience (min 6 months in a manufacturing field - required). - Knowledge of safety processes in a manufacturing environment - Good verbal and written communication skills. - MS Teams (preferred) **Preferred attributes**: - Team player - Possess a positive "can do" attitude. - Reliability - Organized and detailed oriented - Multi-tasking - Delegation **Physical Attributes** - Repetitive tasks - Physically demanding - Manual dexterity - Attention to detail - Hand-eye co-ordination - Standing for extended periods **What we offer**: - Extended health benefits - Dental coverage - Vision coverage - Long-term disability - Life Insurance - RRSP matching - Employee Appreciation Events Apex Aluminum Extrusions is a place for you to feel challenged, professional, and creative, while offering you the ability to build relationships, and excel in your career.
