**Full Job Description**

As a heavy equipment operator, you will be responsible for operating a variety of machinery including track skid steer (CTL) with various attachments such as, roller packer, Harley rake (grader), brush mower, etc. Mini excavator, front end wheel loader and chain trencher and street sweepers. Must have a valid class 3A license to haul equipment from site to site. Must be able to perform light labor to support the team as needed.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Operate various equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Perform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance
- Read site plans, grade stakes and instructions
- Work with team members to complete jobs accurately
- Maintain accurate records of work
- Conduct and record accurate pre trips on equipment and notify the management team of any potential hazards
- Able to work with mínimal supervision
- Self sufficient
- Attention to detail

**Qualifications**
- Minimum 2 years working in heavy equipment on similar jobsites
- Strong understanding of grade stakes
- Good communication skills
- Teamwork
- Valid class 3A license or higher

**Requirements**:

- Eligibility to work in Canada without restrictions
- Clear drivers abstract
- Proven experience operating heavy machinery
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and perform basic maintenance
- Valid Class 3A License
- Ability to work in various weather conditions including, rain, snow, heat, cold etc.
- Ability to perform light labor activities to assist in jobs as needed
- Excellent communication
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and overtime as required.

**Job Types**:Full time permanent

**Additional Pay**:Overtime after 50 hours per week
