**Production Supervisor**

At Freshouse Foods, we create custom protein items with the help and direction of our partners. We want to build our creations to meet and exceed our customers needs.

Our flexibility and versatility on our production floors allow us to offer an array of retail, foodservice, and healthcare products.

The Production Supervisor will be responsible for overall productivity and quality control for all products

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by training and directing employees on the use of all equipment and processes;
- Ensure and enforce compliance with food safety, product quality, environmental and employee’s health and safety regulatory guidelines;
- Organize workflow by scheduling and assigning employees, establishing priorities, monitoring progress, revising schedules, resolving problems and reporting results on production;
- Along with Quality Assurance, review, maintain and improve Safe Quality Food System (SQF) as well as monitor preventative sanitation enforcement;
- Works closely with every operation department (Shipping, Maintenance, Quality, HR) to address any issues that arise or that would affect the production of healthy, sanitary products and building repairs;
- Inspect materials, products, or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions;
- Performs routine plant walks to monitor activities of production and packaging;
- Identify opportunities for improvement

**Qualifications**:

- 3+ years previous supervisory experience in food processing or manufacturing;
- Previous experience working with HACCP;
- Attention to detail;
- Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
