This dynamic business specializes in golf course construction and renovations; they work with top Golf Course Architects on some of Ontario's most prestigious golf clubs. They perform work such as rebuilding greens, bunkers, tees, cart paths, and basically anything and everything you would find on a golf course that is not a building.

We are seeking a Site Supervisor who will oversee all on-site aspects of golf, landscape, and environmental construction projects with a crew of 4-8 people. This includes planning, communicating, and coordinating with subcontractors, material, rental equipment, and client/ engineer/ architect interactions.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the preparation of job sites prior to the beginning of a project
- Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the day-to-day work activities of a golf/ landscape construction crew (4-8 people) with the Operations manager
- This includes delegating job tasks to the appropriate crew members to complete projects in a timely matter
- Schedule and arrange subcontractors, materials, and rental equipment based on the scope of the construction project
- Read and interpret blueprints, structural drawings, and specifications to delegate/ and complete work activities.
- Conduct Workplace/ job site inspections
- Implement, support, and enforce the overall Health & Safety program at the project level
- Ability to assess when locates are required. Ability to read and interpret locates
- Conduct on-site orientations with new employees and employees in new positions which cover company health and safety policies, practices, and procedures
- Operate various tools and equipment, including heavy equipment, chainsaws, jumping jacks, shovels, rakes, concrete saws, etc.

**Qualifications**:

- 3-5 years of Leadership management experience running a crew; the working manager will be side by side with their team, handling project administration with a constant eye on employee safety and pacing the job
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the landscape, construction industry, or equivalent
- A love for the outdoors and a passion for golf will capture our attention
- Knowledge and experience of specific materials, methods, tools, and equipment required to complete various landscaping construction projects
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Effective organization and time management skills
- Valid driver's license, clean driver abstract, and access to a reliable vehicle
- AR or AZ license is considered to be an asset.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. Repeatedly through a work shift
- Education in the areas of; landscape architecture, turf maintenance, horticulture, construction management and similar are strongly desired
