Alexa Millwork Ltd. has been involved in custom woodwork projects for residential clients as well as commercial businesses since 2015.

The company is owned and managed by a very dedicated European craftsman who has over 20 years experience in the woodworking industry, and who combined his European and Canadian experience to create and run a thriving woodworking company, delivering high standards of manufacturing and craftsmanship.

Alexa Millwork offers a complete range of services from design / shop drawings to manufacturing, finishing and installation, working with all ranges of available materials in the market.

**Responsibilities**:

- Install and assemble various products and equipment according to specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and schematics
- Measure and mark dimensions and reference points on materials
- Cut, shape, and smooth materials using hand tools, power tools, or machines
- Repair or restore damaged structures or fixtures
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient completion of projects

**Skills**:

- Carpentry: Proficient in carpentry techniques and able to construct, install, and repair wooden structures and fixtures
- Flooring Installation: Experience in installing various types of flooring materials such as hardwood, laminate, tile, or vinyl
- Hand Tools: Proficient in the use of a variety of hand tools such as hammers, saws, drills, levels, and measuring tapes
- CNC: Experience operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines for precision cutting or shaping of materials
- Fabrication: Ability to fabricate or modify materials to meet specific project requirements
- Maintenance Person: General knowledge of various home repair tasks including plumbing, electrical work, painting, and basic maintenance

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Casual

**Salary**: $33.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

- carpentry: 3 years (preferred)
- Cabinet installation: 3 years (required)

- Metro Vancouver Regional District, BC (required)

Willingness to travel:

- 75% (preferred)
