COBS Bread Gladwin Crossing are recruiting for a baker to join our team. We have a wide range of experience and skills in our team and are looking for someone who can enhance the team dynamics. Experience is not required; however, the starting wage will be partly based on experience and what value you can bring to the team. Product quality is always the number 1 priority. We work at a fast, organized pace so some experience in the type of working environment would be beneficial. We are a reasonably small team so the fit must be excellent. Early morning (3am) starts and weekend work is part of the role.

The early morning starts mean an early finish as well. Historically this has proven advantageous for people with young families with two working parents, for people that like to explore nature (you can be on the ski hill before noon after your shift) and for people that sometimes work an additional part time job.

We produce all our own products on site, from scratch daily. All unsold products are donated to charity. The nature of the role means that teamwork is vital for success. You will learn aspects of the baking role, including running all stations and shifts. We have a very supportive environment and all work towards the same goals every day.
