**The Role**: We’re hiring a strategic and self-driven **Business Development Representative** to build and manage a pipeline of qualified commercial and residential tenants across our growing portfolio. You’ll liaise directly with external real estate partners and collaborate closely with our CEO to support the end-to-end leasing process—from lead generation to writing tenancy agreements.

This is a high-impact role with exposure to decision-makers and the opportunity to shape the future of how we fill and manage our real estate assets.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Pipeline Development**: Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective commercial and residential tenants across multiple properties and asset types.
- **Tenant Acquisition**: Lead outreach and relationship-building efforts with prospective tenants, brokers, and real estate partners to secure new leases.
- **External Partner Liaison**: Act as the primary point of contact with external real estate development and leasing partners to coordinate marketing and leasing efforts.
- **Portfolio Oversight**: Track leasing progress across the Develop Smart portfolio, flagging risks and opportunities to senior leadership.
- **Documentation & Agreements**: Work alongside the CEO to draft and refine tenancy agreements, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with deal terms.
- **Market Intelligence**: Conduct market research on competitive properties, rental rates, and occupancy trends to inform acquisition and pricing strategies.

**What We’re Looking For**:

- 2-4 years of experience in **commercial real estate development, leasing, or brokerage** (residential experience a plus, but not required).
- Proven track record of **building and converting pipelines** in a real estate context.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills—you know how to sell the vision and close the deal.
- A **self-starter** who thrives in lean environments with high autonomy and direct access to leadership.
- Comfort working across multiple asset types and stages of development.
- Experience drafting or negotiating tenancy agreements is a strong asset.
- Organized, resourceful, and energized by the opportunity to help scale a growing real estate platform

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $24.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
