**The Position**

**Job Responsibilities and Duties**
- Sourcing suppliers and maintaining long-lasting relationships with them as well as existing suppliers.
- Implementing inventory optimization strategies within the company. - Obtaining quotes from different suppliers.
- Negotiating price, quantity, and delivery schedules with suppliers. - Working with legal counsel to ensure that all contracts relating to product procurement contain all details of the negotiation.
- Assessing quotes and compiling a detailed assessment of cost breakdowns.
- Generating quote comparisons and contributing to internal supplier selection based on the quotes.
- Providing solutions to improve company spending and outsourcing.
- Responsible for order fulfilment process for AceAge products; including receiving incoming shipments, processing and delivering on orders/outgoing shipments and managing any return transactions (RMA)
- Managing several couriers/freight forwarders through assessment, account set-up and shipments, tracking orders and notifying appropriate stakeholders of timelines / status etc.
- Manage office supply inventory Responsible for shipping and receiving
- Complete additional duties as required

**Qualifications**
- Post-Secondary diploma or degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field
- 2-3 years experience in a similar position is required
- Bilingual in Chinese and English is a strong asset but is not required
- Experience with inventory management
- Proven experience in sourcing processes
- A thorough understanding of sourcing methodologies
- Sound time-management and organizational skills
- Strong negotiation skills
- Ability to work under pressure in an entrepreneurial small to medium sized business; ability to work with a sense of urgency within a fast paced and demanding work environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook

- Experience developing processes and procedures associated with being in a new role
- Experience with international sourcing and procurement

**Working Conditions**
- This is a fast-paced and occasionally physical position, meaning you must be able to stand, crouch, and lift objects and parcels throughout your shift.
- This is a 80% remote position with 20% of the time being onsite at our location due to COVID-19. We may potentially require additional hours onsite as restrictions lift and business demands grow
