Currently, we are looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team of committed professionals. This full-time position within the Association is housed at the YMCA of Northeastern Ontario’s Durham Street location in Sudbury. Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for processing all accounts payable related transactions. This position is also responsible for some banking, corporate credit card account management, the monitoring and reconciliation of all vendor accounts, as well as providing office support and accounting related assistance across the association.

**LOCATION**: Sudbury
**RATE OF PAY**: $41,600 per year
**HOURS**: 40 per week
SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of one to two (1-2) years accounts payable experience
- Familiarity with Microsoft Great Plains an asset
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong attention to detail
- Bilingualism in both official languages considered an asset
- Current and Satisfactory Police Record Check with Vulnerable Sector
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Match invoices to purchase orders or other authorization/GL coding support documentation
- Enter accounts payable transactions in Dynamics GP as per invoice or other source documentation
- Prepare payment runs as required
- Prepare outgoing mail to suppliers/vendors
- Maintain an organized digital filing system for all accounts payable documents and archived finance digital storage
- Perform cash out duties occasionally, as a back up to Payroll Administrator
- Provide other finance related support to the department
