**About Our Practice**: Dr. Mostachfi's specialist surgical office is a modern, professional Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) clinic dedicated to providing exceptional patient care. We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Medical Office Assistant to become a key member of our dedicated team and the first point of contact for our patients. **Core Responsibilities**: - Serve as the face of our clinic, welcoming patients and ensuring a positive, professional experience. - Manage an efficient patient flow by scheduling appointments, coordinating specialist referrals, and handling all surgical bookings with the operating room. - Maintain accurate and confidential electronic medical records (EMR) in strict compliance with patient privacy regulations. - Handle all patient inquiries with empathy and efficiency via a multi-line phone system. - Perform sterilization of medical instruments to clinical standards. **"Must-Have" Qualifications**: _To be considered for this role, you must meet the following minimum requirements:_ - A certificate or diploma as a Medical Office Assistant from an accredited institution. - Or a minimum of two years of experience in a medical office or clinical administrative role. - Currently located in or able to reliably commute to Victoria, BC, for daily on-site work. **"Preferred" Qualifications**: - Hands-on experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems. - Experience in a specialist surgical office. - Exceptional multitasking, communication, and interpersonal skills. - A meticulous and organized approach to your work, with strong attention to detail. **Position Details**: - **Job Type**: Full-time, Permanent - **Compensation**: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour, commensurate with experience. - **Location**: This is an on-site position at our clinic in Victoria, BC.
