Belleville's is looking for Food Runners & Hosts to join our team for the busy summer season We are a high-volume restaurant with a heavy focus on customer service and providing a fun, inclusive environment for guests and staff alike.

For this role, you should have strong communication, organization, and people skills. Our goal is to make sure our guests have a positive dining experience from the moment they arrive until their departure.

The Food Runner primary responsibilities are: assisting with restaurant opening/closing, organizing bills, garnishing & delivering food to tables, and maintaining the overall stock and cleanliness of the Expo station. They are an important point of communication between the kitchen and servers, and a key role for ensuring all food leaving the kitchen is presentable and high quality.

The Host primary responsibilities are running the door and coordinating with the service team. This includes greeting/seating guests, setting up & organizing reservations/waitlists, assisting with clearing tables and taking payments, and light sanitation duties as needed. Hosts will also occasionally assist the Expo during busy periods and help run food.

These roles are also trainable entry points into Serving positions, for which we promote seasonally based on performance.

**Requirements**:

- Weekend availability - Must be available to work weekends, where our restaurant is the busiest. Our hours of operation are 8:00 AM - 12:00AM (1:00 AM Fri/Sat), so morning shifts begin around 7:30 AM, and closing shifts require availability until 1:00 AM.
- Good physical condition to walk and stand throughout your shift, as well as being able to carry products, dish bins, ice, etc.
- Works well in a team environment. We have a large and diverse staff, and inclusion is key to everyone working together.

In addition to hourly income, the Expo/Food Runner receives tip pool, 50% staff discount and 25% discount for friends and family.

Pay: From $18.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
