The Host / Food Runner is responsible for welcoming guests in a warm and friendly manner as they enter the City Centre Grille and Patio 37. They are also responsible for seating guests, coordinating the flow of diners, and ensure that liquor is not leaving the licensed area. In addition, they will also clear dishes and clean tables between guests. Finally, they will ensure that orders are delivered in a timely manner and may also assist in bussing tables and running drinks (if 19 or over).

**Responsibilities**:

- Welcome guests in a warm and friendly manner as they enter the City Centre Grille and Patio 37.
- Notify servers of newly seated tables.
- Monitor occupancy limits and manage the waitlist effectively
- Oversee the entrance to ensure compliance with liquor regulations, including preventing outside liquor from entering, while also ensuring that patrons do not leave with liquor.
- Provide support by assisting with clearing and bussing tables between reservations and seatings.
- Assist servers and bartenders by delivering food from the kitchen to various business areas, including the Bowling Alley, City Centre Grille, Patio 37, and Playzone, as needed.

**Requirements**:

- Prior experience is not required, but a positive attitude is essential. We are looking for team players who are committed to providing a seamless guest experience. Our focus is on delivering exceptional service, as we strive to be the top destination for family fun and entertainment in the west shore.
- Afternoon, evening, and weekend availability.
- Valid Serving It Right certificate, or willing to obtain.
