Small team requiring a main pair of hands at a small production facility in the cute neighborhood of Villeray.

RAWESOME's mission is to offer gourmet vegan products made only with real and nutritious ingredients, inspiring a healthy, rich and tasty cuisine, offering decadent guiltless desserts + uncompromising non-dairy cream cheeses, making plant-based foods accessible to everyone, and thus contributing to a healthier world.

We are looking for a motivated and solid person to fill the position of production operator, to work under the supervision of the Director of production. Experience in production in the food industry is required.

**Tasks Description**:

- Minimum 6 months of experience producing in a food production facility / food production line;
- In charge of all production operations and Rawesome production team;
- Producing Rawesome cultured cashew cream cheeses, tzatziki, sour cream, cheesecakes and nice cream;
- 21+ recipes to follow and execute with consistency and perfection;
- Operation of production and packaging machines (mixers, filler, sealers, juicers, peeler, fermenters, etc.);
- Assisting with packaging + prepping of Rawesome products;
- Ensuring and maintaining the cleanliness of workspaces and machinery;
- Maintaining a good personal hygiene and follow good hygiene and sanitation practices in a food production and food handling environment;
- Back and forth in walk-in freezer;
- Palletization of products inside freezer;
- Receiving of raw materials and packaging, includes manipulation of 50lbs cashew cases;
- Operating an electric jigger, removing pallets from walk-in freezer;
- Purchasing, scheduling;
- Working with an ERP;
- Asset: certificate in food hygiene and safety from MAPAQ;
- Asset: passionate about vegan foods.

**Required qualifications**:

- 6+ months experience in food production (agro sector), absolute must.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 18 - 24 per week

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (required)
