**HOURS: DAYS, EVENINGS, NIGHTS, AND WEEKENDS**
**SALARY: $30.696 (Min.) - $36.426 (Max.)**

**THE ORGANIZATION**
North Bay Regional Health Centre (NBRHC) is a unique health care organization with three primary roles: providing acute care services to North Bay and its surrounding communities, functioning as the district referral centre providing specialist services for smaller communities in the area, and it’s the specialized mental health service provider serving all of northeast Ontario. At more than 400 beds, our state-of-the-art regional health centre has over 150 physicians, 2300 employees and 250 volunteers.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Qualifications as per the North Bay Central Ambulance Communication Centre Performance Agreement required:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must hold OSSGD or equivalent
- Must be able to read, write and speak English language fluently
- Valid first aid certificate
- Valid CPR certificate
- Ministry of Health Ambulance Communications Certificate (2 years) required
- Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) required (training delivered by Health Centre upon hire)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Providers (HCP) Certificate is required (recent within the last twelve months)
- Minimum 2-3 years ACO experience required
- College 911 Communications Course required
- Strong organizational skills required
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written required
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with all members of the health team required
- Demonstrated computer keyboarding proficiency (40 wpm/90% accuracy) required
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision required
- Medical terminology is an asset
- Good attendance and work record required
- Must demonstrate commitment to ensure your safety, the safety of fellow workers, patients, volunteers and visitors
- Must support and contribute to a culture of safety and prevention of adverse health events in this organization
