Mortgage Broker (British Columbia based)

We are seeking a sub mortgage broker to become a part of our team You will help your clients with acquiring residential and commercial mortgages through understanding the clients, their needs and lenders’ characteristics to develop a trusted and long lasting relationship with both your clients and lending partners.

**Responsibilities**:

- Negotiating with banks and various lenders to find the best mortgage solution for the clients.
- Acquiring new clients and assessing their needs according to their financial information.
- Acting as a go-between for lenders and clients in need of mortgage loans.
- Educating clients on their legal and financial options and ensuring that they understand them.
- Helping clients complete and understand all the necessary paperwork and process.
- Develop referral networks to locate prospects for mortgages.
- Handle clients' complaints and take appropriate actions to resolve them.

**Requirements**:

- A valid BCFSA Mortgage Broker License, in good standing.
- No experience is required
- Be up to date on economic, product, and market trends.
- Outstanding communication skills.
- Ability to build trust with clients, lenders, and real estate agents.

New team members will receive:

- Continuous expert guidance and coaching to develop personal skill sets.
- Training and support to build your skill set and knowledge to understand and complete the mortgage process.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 40 per week

**Salary**: $31,902.49-$209,781.33 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Surrey, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- mortgage: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- BCFSA Mortgage broker license (required)
