The Mortgage Associate works alongside the Senior Mortgage Brokers to gain experience. Once the associate is fully trained, they then make the transition to a full-fledged broker and are set up to succeed as they grow their own team of associates around them. This position starts with a salary wage, plus commission on all deals

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Building relationships while remaining professional when dealing with clients and co-workers
- Being comfortable making calls to potential clients
- Identifying the mortgage options that are available to clients
- Understanding and adapting to changes in mortgage options and following up with clients
- Assisting clients with their needs such as debt consolidation, home renovations, mortgage renewals, etc.
- Providing transparent financial advice to clients
- Ensuring any inquiries are dealt with in a timely manner
- Engaging clients to discover their needs and creating unique solutions

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Sub-Mortgage Broker license is an asset
- Must be willing to work towards Sub-Mortgage Broker license
- Previous sales experience is an asset
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Comfortable and motivated to work in a sales-driven environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Flexible, adaptable and keen ability to work with mínimal supervision

**Salary**: $45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
