The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and wrap-up of our annual cultural festival. This role requires a dynamic individual who can manage multiple tasks efficiently and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- **Key Responsibilities**:_
- Coordinate festival logistics, including co-ordinating the festival critical path with participating pavilions and stakeholders; venue setup, vendor relations, and participant coordination at International Place, a multi pavilion site.
- Coordinate the annual celebration of Canadian Multiculturalism Day
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting related to festival operations.
- Oversee the bookkeeping and prepare for the annual audit
- Present monthly reports to the board.
- Lead and inspire a diverse team of staff and volunteers to achieve festival goals.
- Liaise with community partners, sponsors, and stakeholders to ensure a cohesive and inclusive event.
- **Qualifications**:_
- Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Business Administration, Accounting or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in operations management, preferably in the events sector.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a flair for negotiation and community engagement.

Pay: $60,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
