Allied Universal is seeking **Incident Reporting Security Operator**in Waterloo, Ontario**.**

**Job Title**: Incident Reporting Security Operator

**Location**: Waterloo, ON

**Type**: Casual/ Floater

**Pay Rate**: $ 25.23 per hour

**Shifts**: Various shifts - Flexibility required

**Requirements**:5-year Residency in Canada to obtain clearance

**Overview**:
We are looking for a vigilant and detail-oriented Incident Reporting Security Operator to join our team. This role is essential for maintaining security and safety through the monitoring and reporting of incidents, ensuring adherence to security protocols, and responding to emergencies. Must be available to cover a variety of shifts, including morning, afternoon, and overnight shifts, throughout both weekdays and weekends.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- **Monitor Security Systems**: Continuously oversee alarm systems and CCTV cameras to detect and assess potential security threats.
- **Incident Reporting**: Document and report incidents accurately, ensuring all relevant details are captured for future reference and analysis.
- **Threat Assessment**: Evaluate situations to determine the level of risk and recommend appropriate responses.
- **Access Control**: Manage remote access to secure areas, ensuring that only authorized personnel are allowed entry.
- **Regular Inspections**: Conduct routine checks of security systems and equipment to ensure they are functioning correctly and are up to date.
- **Emergency Response**: Act swiftly in emergency situations, coordinating with law enforcement and emergency services as necessary.
- **Documentation and Record Keeping**: Maintain accurate logs of incidents, inspections, and other relevant documentation for compliance and review.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- 1-2 years of experience working in a security operations center
- Must have a valid** Ontario Security License.**:

- **Flexibility and a willingness to work during different times of day and on weekends.**:

- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience
- **Must be able to obtain site specific security clearance**:

- Familiarity with operating technology and wireless communication systems at client-specific sites.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- First Aid and CPR
