Reporting to the **Senior Manager of E-commerce**, the** E-commerce Project Lead** is responsible for planning, managing, organizing and controlling several projects and initiatives at a time. You will be the gatekeeper to change requests, warden of scope and chief of third-party partner communications. You will coordinate Chatters E-commerce day-to-day activities, with a range of responsibilities including managing website retainer details, testing & deployment of website functions, managing third-party website functions, build website pages, and oversee the scheduling & execution of website promos. The E-Commerce Project Lead will maintain and continually improve our E-commerce platforms and digital presence by working with our Development, Marketing, Customer Support and Merchandising teams to optimize customer experience. They will be responsible for managing our company image online in a cohesive way to achieve sales goals.

**This is a 12 month maternity leave coverage and hybrid work opportunity, that will be based out of our head office in the Greater Toronto Area, Ontario.**

**A Little About The Role**:

- Oversee website functions, content, promotions and all associated services
- Uphold website look & feel to maximize clarity and ease of navigation, resulting in easy conversion and a positive user experience
- Manage retainer hour project details with third-party website company including the submission of bugs/issues/new initiatives, testing and deployment sign-off
- Troubleshoot technical issues as they appear, provide solutions and ensure they are implemented
- Build website page templates and add/coordinate content input
- Document & instruct Website Controller team on how to make website updates
- Manage relationship & functions of third-party website services
- Coordinate design, proofing and execution of scheduled promos outlined on Website Content Calendar with appropriate stakeholders
- Oversee homepage content calendar creation & maintenance in reference to the Integrated Marketing Calendar
- Work with Website Controller team to coordinate inventory availability for website promotions
- Proof & sign off on new blog content, upholding page structure & filters, keywords & internal links
- Guide Website Operations Controller in ongoing maintenance and updates of PDPs in terms of title tags, meta descriptions, schema data, image alt text. Help execute if required.
- Guide & execute in SEO optimization, specifically (but not limited to) optimizing category keywords
- Work a flexible schedule and overtime as required, especially in high-volume seasons

**A Little About You**:

- Undergraduate University Degree or College Diploma in a related field (eg Project Coordination, Business, Marketing/Branding, User Experience)
- Minimum 3 years experience in Project Coordination with a focus in Development & User Experience
- Proficient in MS Office, Google Analytics reporting, HTML, JavaScript, CSS
- 1-3 years of Enterprise-level website platform technical knowledge & experience
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines while working independently and efficiently with mínimal supervision
- Confident in coordinating multiple projects/initiatives simultaneously
- Ability to adapt and shift priorities on a frequent basis
- Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, organized
- Medium SEO knowledge & experience
- Adaptable and willing to learn new systems and tasks
- Knowledge of the beauty industry or Chatters brands considered an asset
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, including excellent verbal and written communication abilities to all levels of the organization
- Maintain a high level of competence and professionalism when representing Chatters at all times
